Digital Sewing Patterns & Downloads
Are your sewing patterns digital or printed?
All Be Mandy Things sewing patterns, guides, and ebooks are digital products. Nothing will be shipped to you.
After purchasing, you'll receive an email with a link to download your files. You can save them to your computer, tablet, or other device and print them at home if you'd like.
I purchased a pattern, but I never received my download email. Where is it?
First, check your spam, junk, and promotions folders.
Still nothing? Here's something that catches quite a few customers by surprise!
If you used Shop Pay, Apple Pay, PayPal, or another express checkout option, your order may have been placed using the email address saved in that account. It might be an old email address or one you don't regularly check.
Take a look at the email associated with your payment account. Your download information may be waiting there!
If you still can't locate your purchase, contact support@bemandythings.com with your name, order number (if available), and any email addresses you may have used.
I entered the wrong email address at checkout. What should I do?
No worries! It happens more often than you might think.
Email support@bemandythings.com with your name, order number if you have it, and the correct email address.
We'll help verify your purchase and get you access to your files.
Do I need to create an account to purchase patterns?
No. You can purchase patterns without creating a customer account. You may want to create an account so you have easier access to your orders.
Just make sure the email address associated with your order is correct, especially when using express checkout options.
Can I print my patterns?
Absolutely!
Be Mandy Things patterns are formatted for US Letter (8.5" x 11") paper.
You can print the instructions at home or keep them on your computer or tablet while you sew.
Do your sewing patterns include printable templates?
Most Be Mandy Things patterns use the measure-and-cut method, meaning you'll cut your fabric using the measurements provided in the instructions rather than printing and assembling paper pattern pieces.
If a pattern includes printable templates, that information will be listed in the product description.

Are your sewing patterns beginner-friendly?
Many of them are!
I design patterns to help sewists build their bagmaking skills, whether you're sewing your first zipper pouch, moving from quilting into bagmaking, or ready to tackle a larger structured tote.
Each product description includes information about the project and techniques used so you can choose something that fits your experience.
Do I need an industrial sewing machine to make your bags?
Nope! That's one of my favorite things to teach.
My patterns are designed to help you make beautiful, structured bags using the domestic sewing machine you already own.
With the right interfacing, needles, and sewing techniques, you can create bags you're proud to carry without investing in an industrial machine.
What if I get stuck while sewing one of your patterns?
Questions are part of learning, and we're happy to help!

Do you offer video tutorials?
Yes!
I have a growing collection of free bagmaking tutorials covering zippers, handles, pockets, hardware, interfacing, and other helpful sewing techniques.

Some patterns also include private video instruction. Be sure to read the individual product description to see what's included.
Where can I learn more about interfacing for bagmaking?
Interfacing is one of the biggest factors in how a finished bag looks and feels!
My Sew Better Bags ebook covers interfacing combinations, needles, thread, stitch lengths, pressing, and other techniques that help you get better results when sewing bags.

Can I sell finished bags made from your sewing patterns?
Yes! Be Mandy Things grants the original purchaser a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to make and sell up to 20 finished items per sewing pattern per calendar year for small-scale commercial purposes.
Production exceeding 20 finished items per pattern within a calendar year requires prior written authorization and a separate commercial licensing agreement with Be Mandy Things. Additional licensing fees may apply.
This permission does not extend to mass production, third-party manufacturing, or the reproduction, redistribution, sharing, or resale of Be Mandy Things patterns or instructional materials.

Can I share a pattern I purchased with a friend or sewing group?
Purchased patterns are for individual use and may not be copied, emailed, shared, or redistributed to others.
If a friend loves the bag you're making, that's wonderful! Please direct them to Be Mandy Things so they can purchase their own copy.
Can I teach a class using your sewing patterns?
Teaching classes using Be Mandy Things patterns requires prior written authorization.
Each student must purchase their own copy of the pattern directly through the Be Mandy Things website or Etsy shop.
If you're a quilt shop owner, sewing instructor, or event organizer interested in teaching one of my designs, please contact customerservice@bemandythings.com before scheduling or advertising your class.
We're happy to discuss possible arrangements.
Orders, Payments & Refunds
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept major credit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover, along with PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay where available at checkout.
Is my payment information secure?
Yes. Payments are processed through secure payment providers using encrypted connections.
Be Mandy Things does not directly store your full credit card information.
Do you accept international orders?
Yes!
Because our products are digital downloads, customers from around the world can purchase our patterns and guides.
Please note that patterns use imperial measurements (inches), and printable files are formatted for US Letter paper.
Can I return or exchange a digital sewing pattern?
Because Be Mandy Things sells digital products, all sales are final. Refunds and exchanges are not available.
Please review product descriptions carefully before purchasing to make sure the pattern is right for you.

I accidentally purchased the same pattern twice. What should I do?
If you believe you've purchased the same pattern more than once, contact customerservice@bemandythings.com with your order numbers.
We'll review your orders and let you know what options are available under our digital product policy.
I purchased a pattern on Etsy. Where do I find my download?
If you purchased through the Be Mandy Things Etsy shop, your order and digital files are managed through Etsy.
Sign in to Etsy using a web browser and visit Your Account → Purchases and Reviews to find your digital downloads.
Please note that Etsy digital purchases cannot currently be downloaded through the Etsy mobile app.
If you checked out as a guest, check the email address used during checkout for your download information from Etsy.
For assistance with an Etsy purchase, please contact us through Etsy messages so we can locate your order.

What are your customer service hours?
Customer support is available Monday through Friday during regular business hours, 10am-4pm, Pacific Time.
We aim to respond to emails within 1–2 business days.
Messages received on weekends or holidays will be answered as soon as possible during the next business day.
